Kulpi State School is a small, country school situated approximately 60 kilometers north-west of Toowoomba between Oakey and Cooyar, in the foothills of the Bunya Mountains . Kulpi is in a small dairy and grain growing district on the Darling Downs.

Kulpi State School was opened on the 9th of August, 1915.
